This week at Co-op Academy Hillside
Year 2's Liverpool vs. Shanghai Deep Dive!
Year 2 had a fantastic afternoon diving into why people visit Liverpool as part of our "Liverpool vs. Shanghai" topic. We uncovered some fascinating facts, including that these two vibrant places are "Twin Cities"!
We explored a whole host of attractions, deciding which ones we'd love to visit most. Plus, we had great discussions about both physical and human features that make each city unique.
A Heartfelt Thanks for Our Wonderful Summer Fair!
We had a truly fantastic time at our summer fair, and it's all thanks to our amazing staff and everyone who came out to support us! Your presence made it a truly special event.
A "Smooth" Tuesday for Year 4!
What a Tuesday it was for our Year 4 pupils! This morning, they had a special visit from Innocent Smoothies, all the way from their London head offices, who delivered a fantastic smoothie-making workshop. The children got to taste-test many of their most popular smoothies before unleashing their creativity to design and make their very own!
And just when they thought the day couldn't get any better, they had another delightful surprise: a visit from Mrs. Clayton and adorable baby Louie! Isn't he just precious?
Reception's Deep Dive: A Blue Planet Adventure!
Reception had the best time at the Blue Planet Aquarium today with our friends from Co-op Academy Woodslee and Co-op Academy Portland. We saw so many marine creatures and got to looks at their habitats. We have been learning about them at school at the moment so to see them up close was a brilliant experience!
Impressive Skills: Year 5's Budding Engineers!
I think we may have some engineers of tge future in our Year 5 class. The skill they demonstrated was very impressive!

At Co-op Academy Hillside, we will do all we can to support your family and ensure our academy is safe, calm and a supportive environment for your child. Let’s celebrate everyone’s success together.
