Apply for a Nursery Place at Co-op Academy Hillside.

Our nursery welcomes children aged 2 - 4 and helps them get ready for school in a happy and caring way. As part of a nursery school, children learn routines, build independence and feel confident in a classroom setting. Our highly qualified teachers use play and fun activities to help children make friends, enjoy learning and grow in confidence every day.

Nursery: Ages 2-4

When Can My Child Start?
Your child can start the term after their 2nd birthday if spaces are available. Alternatively, you can choose for them to start in September.
Our terms start: September, January and April.

Free Nursery Education

          For 2 year olds

• If you qualify, families can get 15 free hours of nursery each week.
• After your child turns 3, this may increase to 30 free hours per week if you qualify.

         For 3 year olds

• All children get 15 free hours of nursery each week.
• Eligible families can get 30 free hours per week.
  *Both parents usually need to work (or be in training/education) and earn at least the National Minimum Wage for 16 hours a week, with individual earnings below £100k.

• Opening Hours
  Hours can be taken flexibly, so you can pick morning or afternoon sessions. 

  • Standard hours: 8.45 am - 3.15 pm 
  • Morning session: 8.45 am - 11.45 pm 
  • Afternoon session: 12.15 pm - 3.15 pm

• Wraparound Care

  • Breakfast Club: 8 am, if the child is potty-trained.

• Additional Hours
  Extra hours can be purchased if needed.
  
  You can extend your morning or afternoon session for £15 a day.
  A full day is £32.50.

Lunch

• Lunch is charged at £2.50 per day, or you can provide a packed lunch.
