At Co-op Academy Hillside we are committed to providing all pupils with a consistent, purposeful and diverse experience of careers and enterprise related learning, which is pivotal in giving children a wide-ranging and open view of the world of work; particularly in their local area.  

It is our vision to provide each child with the experiences, tools and skills they will need to make later life decisions surrounding careers and aspirations.

We are looking to forge strong links with local employers and employees, develop the children’s understanding of Wirral’s Local Market Information and infrastructure and increase pride in themselves and the area in which they live. 

Through the exposure of as many careers and jobs as possible; linking to each area of the curriculum, we aim to help children to see the purpose of everything they learn, see the potential in the skills, qualities and aspirations they possess and to celebrate and cultivate their talents and interests.
