Pupils came to school dressed as their favourite characters and brought along their favourite book to share with their friends. Our staff also joined in the fun with Heroes and Villains themed fancy dress, choosing a side and getting into the spirit of the day with some great outfits!

As part of the celebrations, pupils visited our pop-up book library, where they each had the chance to choose a brand-new book to take home and keep. It was lovely to see the excitement as children picked out a new story to read.

To top it all off, our kitchen team prepared a yummy special themed lunch menu for the day.

It was fantastic to see so many creative costumes and to celebrate our love of reading together.
